Happy Beginnings

Everybody is looking for their happy ending. Ambitions to fulfil, destinations to reach. Each one is struggling to make his/her dream come true imagining that this dream is the end.

Wake up people!

Death is how all of us are going to end. It is a “scientifically” proven fact.
Don’t be shocked with the truth. I know you were deceived as a kid with all the fairy tales and cartoon you were watching, but those were made for kids and you need to grow up.
So why do you look for something that will come to you eventually??

Don’t be sad, all I’m trying to say is that we need a little shift in our thoughts so we can reach true happiness.
What we really need and should go looking for is happy beginning. Lots and lots of happy beginnings.

Rather than thinking of finding our soul mate, the dream job, gaining a fortune...etc as our happy ending as if there will be no more dreams after, we should think of these dreams as happy beginnings of new stages in our life. Each stage has new dreams and goals to fulfil.

Imagine a map with a two points on it: your birth and your death and you need to reach your death but with the happiest and most comfortable road.
Each choice you make, every goal you achieve is like a city or a station on this road. On this station, you can change the road or adjust your plan for your life trip.

So every dream is another opportunity to start fresh or to continue on the same track. It’s your choice.
What if you didn’t reach the city (goal) you hoped to reach? It’s ok, keep going, may be an unfulfilled dream lead you to unexpected city on the map that will change the road entirely.
So it’s not a sad ending, it’s just an opportunity to dream of another happy beginning.
Don’t ever give up. There are lots and lots of happy beginnings in this life. So dream as much as you can and enjoy every station in your life.

It’s not the destination you are seeking, it’s the happiness you’ll experience in journey that matters.

Realistic

High expectations, too many hopes
I used to believe that dreams come true
Optimism used to have unlimited scope
I guess I was naïve, I didn’t have a clue

Disappointment after another
Constant defeats
Depression sweeps in intending to stay forever
Now it’s sadness I can’t beat

All work and dreams are in vain
We all have been living in a fantasy
Streets covered with blood but what did we gain
And still I can’t accept this cruel reality

Insanity

My brain always won
in this constant battle within me
I thought my emotions are finally gone
when I met this strong girl I turned to be

but out of the ashes my heart rose
with every blood drop it fights
it struggles, never welling to lose
fighting for my own desires

this on going battle between my brain and heart
between what's reality and what's fantasy
between opposites , two choices apart
torn inside, I’m closer to insanity

Two Lists

A week and a year of my time on earth will end. When I think about this year, I recall mixed memories of joy and tears. So, I decided for this last week of 2011 to write two lists. One of the things I’m grateful for and one for the things I regret.

I’ll fill those two lists daily , so by the end of the week I’ll have 7 things on each list.

I hope that this idea will make me feel more optimistic about the future and more thankful about the past.

A letter to Neverland

Dear Neverland,

Suddenly, when we are starting to get along and know each other, I’m drawn away from you.

This new life style that came with the job leaves me with no clear mind to write. Even if I have dozens of ideas and thoughts to write, just when I have time to put them down in words, I’m mentally exhausted.

Please be patient on me. I have many thoughts in mind and you are the only place where I can speak them out loud. So, I’ll be back soon.

Yours,
M.

Waiting

Every night I see you in my dreams
Holding your hand, hearing your voice
When you left me, I cried a sea of tears
My love, I know you didn’t have a choice

I’ve never imagined living without you
I've never imagined how it would feel
Suddenly, death came and stole you
And left my wounds open with no heal

You were the only friend that I’ve got
My child I’ve never born
With your death I’ve been shot
And my heart has been torn

Life without a meaning, sun without a ray
Waiting for death, waiting for my destiny
Heaven is there, where you’re waiting by the bay
I’m coming, longing for you to embrace me

P.S  inspired by a true love story.

You make me feel like a teenager

Dear new inspiration,

You entered my life unexpectedly and I admit you had my attention at the first sight. You spied on me and I can’t deny that I liked it. There is something about you that inspires me.

When I see you around, you make me feel like a teenager again.  You inspire me to write and dig deeper in my soul. But just when I had an idea to write in my mind and I was so close to blow it down in words, you just disappeared. It’s like you never existed before. I feel like I was catching smoke in my hands and I’m starting to think that you were just an imaginary person I created in my head.

So, dear inspiration, whether you are real or not, please stick around, enter my world and let me be inspired by you. Let me live those lovely moments of excitement, those teenage moments so I can find my way back to my adult life.

Yours,
Lost in time.
